Canela & Clavo is an unheard-of and intriguing creation of original compositions, Worldmusic and theatre elements. Enchanting, reciting, calling and sometimes whispering in Spanish, Farsi and German, The Canela&Clavo Ensemble takes the audience on a musical journey opening a gate towards a new unknown home.
Flying on the wings of poetry and immersing in the pulse of emotion, it creates rhythms and melodies, that remind of nostalgic worlds interwoven with a freshly shining light. Through this, the artists intent to build vibrating bridges between cultures and languages, expressing identities and perspectives.
However, after all, it´s the mystery of music itself directly touching hearts and flowing through the spirits of the audience free from any mental concepts.
Desde esquinas del mundo muy distantes, desde la Persia y desde Chile, se reúnen estos dos músicos para compartir y crear música original e interpretar canciones de diversas tradiciones y países del mundo.
Su pasión por estilos y ritmos de tradición folclórica (Huaino chileno, tonada venezolana, afrocumbia colombiana, zamba argentina, joropo venezolano, entre otros) junto a cuentos que expresan la filosofía de Canela i Clavo y sensibles composiciones hacen de su repertorio un colorido collage, que expresa una búsqueda personal y artística, uniendo libremente diferentes elementos.
El resultado es una propuesta única y original que expresa con sensibilidad, poesía y emoción la belleza y el embrujo de diversas latitudes y ensoñaciones.
